In December 2004, years before I started taking an interest in birds, my family and I camped overnight at the Addo Elephant Park outside Port Elizabeth. Here are some scenery shots of the spot:

The only shots I have of birds from the trip were of Common Ostrich and Cape Weaver (which probably got in the way of my scenery shot!). I guess that my little point and shoot camera just did not get me close enough to get any shots of birds in those days! I have to visit the park sometime again - I can only imagine what I missed back then!!!
